Kerner’s is great. We moved to the area from Detroit and prior to that I’ve always had great work done by Mack Garage in Detroit. I prefer using independent auto shops as my Dad & I used to do whatever automotive work on his cars himself (equipment permitting) so I believe in the non-corporate guys vs big dealership and their huge labor costs. The first time I had a rattle in my R tire well only heard turning right and turns out a flap got lose and they removed it with no charge in 20 mins. A second time I needed brakes replaced and general 40k mile maintenance and they ran a whole diagnostic and charged me reasonably. I drive a Mazda CX3 also and that sometimes makes me weary with American vs foreign cars but they knew what they were doing. A 3rd time I kept hearing metal on metal scraping in my passenger rear and I knew it couldn’t be my brakes but concerned it could’ve been my CV joint. Turns out I must’ve ran over a piece of metal that then caused it to get lodged. They removed it in 20 mins and didn’t charge me again. I appreciate that courtesy bc I don’t think you’d get it at the dealership. They would charge you for anything including just having your car hoisted to examine. Loaner cars are provided if you ask nicely and it’s available. They’re clean and get you from point A to point B. Thanks Kerner’s! My boyfriend continues to use the dealership and pay $600 each time but I prefer Kerner’s.

June 2022 - planning a long trip with son from Michigan to Phoenix Arizona. I knew exactly what I needed to do was take our vehicle in to KERNER's to make sure I am not sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. Vehicle is a 2008 with 50K miles. After Mike and his crew with Tyler and the top notch mechanics - the vehicle is ready and prepared. I have the upmost respect and trust with KERNER's Automotive Repairs. I have been a AAA Manager for over 25 years and I let everyone know where to get World Class Service and quality for vehicle repairs. A++++++++++ , TWO THUMBS UP and mega SHOUT OUT's to Mike and his entire staff at KERNER's. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY USING KERNER's - I feel sorry if you go somewhere else and overpay and get second rate service. This place cares more about customers than profits and doing the easy thing. I can't begin to tell you how awesome this place is. We came from Pennsylvania to purchase a vehicle in Michigan. We needed someone to inspect the vehicle prior to making the purchase. Kerners was beyond awesome. They use a computerized inspection system that provides you with detailed pictures and notes that explain any problems. We ended up not making the purchase due to Kerners keen eye for detail. They saved my son from spending his hard earned money on a lemon. Thank you Mike and all the staff at Kerners.

As they say you get what you pay for. Kerner's is a fair price for top notch mechanics. They also stand by there work. I had a software issue that was hard to fix on and old car but they worked with me until we had it fixed.

I had a problem that was diagnosed elsewhere and it wasn't the problem. But you guys were very helpful in helping me find out the problem, and also fixed another issue I wasn't even there for! Very respectful and professional. Would definitely recommend!

I have had a few vehicles through out the years. We have been going here for a couple decades and have always been very satisfied not only with the work (which is impeccable) but their kindness and support are EVERYTHING! They explain to you in laimen terms what is wrong and what they have to do. Their business and kindness is great especially when you're not so happy because of getting your car fixed.
